Envest, one of Australia’s leading insurance investment and distribution companies, is proud to announce the success of its recent fundraising efforts at the Envest Broking Conference. The event raised a donation of $81,000.00 , which will be presented to headspace, the national youth mental health foundation.
The funds raised at the conference highlight Envest’s commitment to supporting mental health initiatives across Australia, particularly given the increasing pressures faced by young people today. With a strong emphasis on community and social responsibility, the company is thrilled to partner with headspace to ensure these essential services continue to make a lasting impact.
headspace provides early intervention mental health services to 12-25-year-olds, helping thousands of young Australians manage their mental health challenges. The funds raised will support the expansion of services, including mental health support, vocational assistance, and substance use programs.
Jason Trethowan, headspace CEO, said: “With two in every five young Australians experiencing mental ill-health each year, the work of headspace has never been more important. That’s why we are so grateful to Envest for their ongoing support. These funds will help headspace’s team of mental health professionals provide even more young people with mental health support, when and where they need it most.”
Paul Lynam, Chairman of Envest, expressed a personal connection to the cause: “As a parent, and with many of our staff also having children in this age group, we see firsthand the importance of supporting mental health for young people in Australia. We are proud to have raised these funds for headspace, an organisation that is doing invaluable work for our youth. The generosity shown at the conference speaks volumes about the values we hold as a company and as individuals. We hope this donation helps more young people get the support they need as soon as they need it."
Envest has long been committed to giving back to the community and fostering a positive culture of social responsibility within the industry. The partnership with headspace is part of a broader initiative to support health and wellbeing programs nationwide.
