Envest CEO Greg Mullins discussed the plan for the combined PSC/Envest insurance distribution group at the Envest Broking Conference today, officially welcoming new colleagues from across Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Mullins said the group would be the legitimate challenger in the insurance industry after combining with PSC the largest independent insurance distributor in the region.

“We are very excited to announce that many of the PSC leaders will be joining the Envest Group, helping to bring our teams and resources together. We will be broadly organising our business across three pillars – Networks, Broking and Agencies."

In the broader leadership team, Managing Director Tony Robinson will transition into a Non-Executive Director role on the Envest Board and PSC Chairman Paul Dwyer joins The Ardonagh Group senior management team.

The Envest Executive team will be expanded to include PSC Insurance Brokers CEO Ben Goodall and General Counsel Julia Mitchell.

PSC Insurance Brokers will operate alongside Aviso Group as part of Envest Broking and Ben joins the executive team alongside Aviso CEO Travis Kemp. Julia will work alongside Envest Chief Risk Officer Simon Gray.

Craig Robson has been appointed CEO of Envest Networks, which will include Resilium and PSC Network Partners with Tony Walker taking on the role of Chairman and continuing to lead PSC networks (Connect and Reliance Partners) and New Zealand businesses day-to-day.

PSC’s underwriting agencies – Chase Underwriting, Breeze Underwriting, Medisure, Insure4less, GoSafe and Travel Insuranz – will continue to report to PSC Specialty CEO Adam Burgess and operate alongside Envest’s existing direct and intermediated MGA brands led by Agency CEO Richard Heilig.

“We look forward to the experience and insight these PSC leaders will bring to our senior management as we start a new chapter together – one powered by experienced leadership, a collaborative approach and aligned to The Ardonagh Group vision.”

Mr Mullins also farewelled PSC’s Australia and New Zealand CEO David Hosking who is departing the combined group at the end of October. “David has made a significant contribution to PSC since joining in 2021. During his tenure, PSC has nearly doubled in size and became more independent in nature, much of this established by David. We say thank you and wish him all the best for the future.”

PSC Founder Paul Dwyer said the leadership of PSC was looking forward to road ahead.

“The Envest Group has an exciting journey ahead as we bring together the two entities. We are confident that this new merged group will deliver fantastic outcomes for clients, and our colleagues.”

The conference, held in Canberra was the first time Envest brought together Resilium and Aviso broking brands, and included special guests from PSC.
