Blue Zebra launches three new products – SME, Commercial Motor & PA
BZI delivers on its promise to expand its product options and streamline service for brokers
Blue Zebra insurance has had a busy quarter launching three new products; Blue Point Accident and Sickness, SME Business Insurance and Commercial Motor.
Blue Point Accident and Sickness is a new collaboration between Blue Zebra Insurance (‘BZI’) and specialist Accident and Sickness underwriter Point Insurance (‘Point’).
From one set of quote information, Blue Point on the BZI platform will offer brokers six Personal Accident quotes (Accident and Sickness or Accident only), each with 3month waiting periods, high limits before referral and strong support wording including Fixed Business Expenses, Agreed Values, Sporting Cover and Sickness up to 70 years of age.
Blue Point has an expected quote time of less than 45 seconds, includes end to end documentation for quote and bind and a variable commission.
Similarly, the new Blue Zebra Commercial Motor gives brokers the option to instantly quote and bind fleets of up to 10 vehicles with cover options for Comprehensive, Third Party Fire and Theft, or Third Party only.
Backed by Youi, the Commercial Product from Blue Zebra incorporates the data and technology benefits of its Private Motor product, along with other key features tailored specifically to Commercial Motor.
Claims are managed by Insurx/Hello Claims and Blue Zebra is offering brokers a variable commission payable, up to 15% (with a default of 12.5% for launch).
The final product release from Blue Zebra this quarter was the roll-out of its, SME Business Insurance. The SME product gives brokers options for comprehensive protection in modular form, with the ability to add or subtract all core product liability products, add multiple locations onto a single policy and tailor cover.
Initially targeting Construction Trades & Services and Professional, Scientific & Technical Services and Specialised Food Retailing, the BZI SME offer will gradually be expanded to other industries. The SME insurance product is backed by Youi and claims will be managed in partnership with specialist provider ProCare.
“The range of products that we now deliver in the Zebra Lounge means that proactive brokers are well placed to cross-sell and up-sell to their existing customer base via Blue Zebra,” Mr Fagen said.
“Additionally, we expect to see lots of new business opportunities as brokers gravitate towards our easy to use options.”
