Envest Group has today announced Aviso Broking, an insurance broking business with offices in QLD and NSW, and PSC Insurance Brokers, a specialist SME insurance broking business with 22 branches, will join forces.
The Aviso Broking business currently services clients along the eastern seaboard of Australia from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast and was one of 11 independent brokerages in the Aviso Group network. PSC Insurance Broking has offices in every major city in Australia and close to 400 staff.
Envest CEO Greg Mullins said bringing the two 100 per cent owned Envest businesses under a combined leadership and branch led structure, would create a truly national presence and position PSC Insurance Brokers as an industry leader.
The change will take place over the next six months, with Aviso Broking staff and branches transitioning out of the Aviso Group network and into the PSC operating model and brand.
PSC Insurance Brokers CEO Benjamin Goodall will lead the newly expanded business which will service more than 50,000 clients and place $920m GWP under the PSC Insurance Brokers brand.
“With 30 branches nationwide, a combined team of 500+ staff we will be able to offer a standardised service, and trusted brand across Australia.
“Both of these brokerages are striving for excellence in the SME sector, so it makes sense to bring them together under one banner.”
Key appointments in the newly combined business include,
- Katherine Oxnard as Regional Executive North
- Paul McLean as Regional Executive Mid
- Karl Truijens as Regional Executive South
- Caroline Jackman as Regional Executive West
- Luke Eagle as Head of Sales
- Chris Nitchov as Head of Corporate & Specialty
- Mark Johnston as Head of Claims
The existing leadership roles of Darren Fenech as COO, William O’Brien as Regional Manager NZ, and Kirsty Roster as CEO Workcover & SafeX, will remain unchanged.

Aviso Broking will rebrand to PSC Insurance Brokers in the second half of this year and will continue to service customers under its existing AFSL. Aviso Broking and PSC staff will co-locate where possible, with office moves in Sydney already complete.
The Envest Group continues to operate a strategic, three-pillar approach to the broking market:
- The 100 per cent owned PSC Insurance Brokers led by Benjamin Goodall.
- Envest Networks, it’s Authorised Representative (AR) network, trading as Resilium and PSC Network Partners, led by Craig Robson.
- The Aviso Group, a network of 10 independent broking businesses led by Travis Kemp.
