Envest Shines at the 20th Australian Insurance Industry Awards

Envest turned out in force at the annual ANZIIF Awards last week to cheer on three of our businesses vying for Awards on the night.

While we didn't take home the top prizes this year, our nominations reflect the outstanding work and dedication of our teams.

Our Nominees:

  1. Resilium Insurance Brokers - Nominated for Authorised Representative Network of the Year
  2. Envest Direct Agencies - Nominated for Underwriting Agency of the Year
  3. Blue Zebra Insurance - Nominated for Underwriting Agency of the Year

Nomination Highlights:

  • By focusing on cutting-edge technology and processes that gift ARs and employees with the luxury of time, Resilium has reduced debtor follow ups by 20-30% and has an estimated AR client retention rate of 83%.
  • EDA is achieving 35% growth YOY while maintaining a phenomenal collective customer satisfaction rating of 96.2% (Jan 24)!

Blue Zebra continues to demonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfaction, innovation, and community engagement.

Insurtech Australia – Building Value

As venture capital deal volumes in fintech cool, insurtech represents the new wave of opportunity for the venture capital market. Growth in investments and transactional volumes in the insurtech space is at an all-time high (USD $1.3bn globally across Q2-Q3 2017) with 67% accounted for in Angel, Seed and Series A rounds. APAC is the rising star in global insurtech, now accounting for 20% of global transactions, with the US retaining 59% (Willis Tower Watson).
